Completed in 1739, Crowcombe Court is a breathtaking Georgian Manor House nestled within seven acres of beautiful gardens, situated just outside Bridgewater, Somerset.

This venue is available exclusively for weddings, offering civil ceremonies for up to 100 guests and evening receptions for up to 150 guests. If you prefer a smaller, more intimate celebration or are considering eloping, they can accommodate that as well.

Laura and Alan secured their booking only two months prior to their special day andwere thrilled to discover that I had last-minute availability for them.

I had several meetings with the couple via Zoom to discuss their wedding in detail, and they felt confident that I could create the intimate atmosphere they desired for their celebration.

Laura and Alan chose my half-day magical host package, which includes assistance with planning leading up to the wedding, magical entertainment during key moments of the day (Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast), making all essential announcements, my comedy cabaret performance for the wedding party, and hosting the speeches.

One highlight from the day for me was the cabaret show. Given that it was an intimate wedding, I shared plenty of laughs with their family and friends, creating a delightful atmosphere before the speeches began!

We met Alfie at a wedding fayre at harbour hotel Christchurch. I have always been a been sceptical of magicians but he did two tricks for us and Charlie and I were saying let’s book! We had no second thoughts. We kept Alfie a surprise for our wedding so guests had a nice surprise for the drinks ceremony and wedding breakfast. It was a great idea as not everyone knew each other and we felt it was a great conversation starter for people. The trick that Alfie performed for us at the end with a keepsake was brilliant.
