Skype & Zoom Magic – Connect with family and friends during lockdown.
Unfortunately due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak, all public gatherings and social events have been put on hold, but that doesn’t mean to say that we can’t still have fun! It really is amazing to see how businesses, families and friends are coping with the practicalities of a national lockdown; from virtual weekly family quizzes to online video conferencing, the nation is staying strong.
Utilising the increasingly popular Skype, Alfie has created a super interactive, fun and personable online magic Skype & Zoom show designed to bring people closer together during this challenging time. So you can’t physically pick a card, but you can think of one and guess what, Alfie will guess your card!
Exactly what it says! It’s online interactive magic that everyone, no matter their location can enjoy.
Once you’ve decided on a date for your online event, Alfie will send you an invite for your virtual magic show (usually this will be via Skype, however Alfie can also send invites for Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Hangouts). Each of these software platforms allows for multiple people to watch remotely and interact with the show at the same time on the same screen. All you need is a decent internet connection, a tablet, phone or laptop and that’s it!
The show is fully interactive and takes the very best of Alfie’s multi-award winning close-up magic into the virtual world. Here’s just a small snapshot as to the type of magic Alfie performs during his online magic show:
Unlike YouTube clips, Alfie’s online magic shows are fully interactive and Alfie actively engages participation from all attendees. Alfie can even personalise the magic to suit your company and/or event.

This is entirely up to you. Skype allows for big numbers, up to 100 people, however to allow for a good level of audience participation Alfie suggests a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 50. After all, witnessing your friend’s, family’s or colleagues’ reactions to the magic is part of the fun!
Typically, an online magic show will last 30 minutes, however longer shows can be arranged.
