Setting the Scene at Brympton House
There’s something truly enchanting about performing magic at Brympton House. The historic Somerset venue, with its beautiful stone façade and stunning grounds, provides the perfect backdrop for creating magical memories. This was certainly the case at Zoe and Steve’s wonderful wedding celebration.
Magical Moments at the Drinks Reception
The day began with close up magic during the drinks reception, where guests gathered in the reception hall. As guests mingled and enjoyed their champagne, I had the pleasure of entertaining small groups with intimate magical performances, creating moments of wonder and laughter that helped break the ice and bring everyone together.
A Special Performance for the Happy Couple
The real highlight came during the wedding breakfast in Brympton’s magnificent Great Hall. Zoe and Steve had requested something extra special for their celebration, and I was delighted to perform a bespoke magical effect just for them. The look of pure amazement on their faces was priceless – it’s moments like these that make my job so rewarding.
Capturing the Magic Through Different Lenses
What made this wedding particularly special was the incredible array of talented artists capturing the day in their own unique ways. It was wonderful to work alongside Sarah Bailey Cartoons again, whose delightful illustrations brought another dimension of joy to the celebrations. The talented Jana Forsyth from Wedding Sketcher was also present, creating beautiful live sketches.
