The 50 Best Wedding Breakfast Entrance Songs to Make Your Grand Entrance Unforgettable!

Your wedding breakfast entrance is one of those magical moments that sets the tone for your entire reception. After the emotion of the ceremony and the joy of your drinks reception, this is when you and your newly married partner make your grand entrance for the first time and trust me, you want to get it right!

Why Your Wedding Breakfast Entrance Matters

This isn't just about walking into a room, it's about creating an atmosphere, building excitement, and giving your guests a moment they'll remember. The right entrance song transforms a simple walk from anticipation into celebration, signalling that the party is truly beginning. Your guests have been mingling, your photographer has been capturing candid moments, and now it's time to bring everyone together to celebrate YOU.

The music you choose sets the emotional tone for your reception. Whether you want something romantic and elegant, fun and upbeat, or downright epic, your entrance song is your chance to showcase your personality as a couple and get everyone on their feet, ready to celebrate.

How Long Should Your Entrance Song Be?

Here's the thing: you don't need the entire song! Most wedding breakfast entrances last between 30 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on how many people are being announced and how much of a build-up you want.

The typical structure:

  • Bridal party entrances: 10-15 seconds per couple

  • Parents (if announced): 10-15 seconds

  • The grand finale – YOU: 30-60 seconds

So while I’m recommending full songs below, remember that I’ll typically fade it in at the perfect moment and fade it out once you're in position. That said, choosing a song with a strong, recognisable intro is key as you want people to instantly know "this is THE moment!"

Who Should Be Announced?

This is entirely up to you, but here's the traditional order:

  1. Bridesmaids and Groomsmen/Ushers – Usually announced in groups

  2. Maid of Honour and Best Man – Your VIPs get their moment!

  3. Flower girls and Page boys (if applicable) – Sometimes announced in with your Bridesmaids and/or Groomsmen

  4. Parents of the Bride and Groom (optional) – Some couples include them, others don't

  5. THE BIG MOMENT – Mr. and Mrs./Mr. and Mr./Mrs. and Mrs. – This is YOUR entrance!

Top Tip: Keep it moving! Each announcement should be brief and punchy. As your ‘Magical Host’, I’ll build excitement with each name, saving the biggest energy for when YOU enter.

Fun Ideas to Make Your Entrance Even More Memorable

Want to take your entrance from great to absolutely legendary? Here are some ideas:

Go Big with Effects: Add cold spark machines for dramatic visual impact. Imagine walking in through a cascade of golden sparks, it's pure magic and photographs incredibly!

Choreograph Something Fun: Some couples choreograph a fun entrance dance with their bridal party. Whether it's a full routine or just a signature move, it gets guests laughing and sets a playful tone.

The Surprise Switch: Start with a romantic, slow song for your bridal party, then BAM, switch to an absolute banger when you enter!

Make It Personal: Choose a song that means something to you as a couple, your first dance at a concert, the song that was playing when you got engaged, or just something that makes you both smile.

Keep It Classic: Sometimes simple is best. A timeless entrance with a beautiful song and genuine smiles is all you need.
